House vocabulary
1. Chimney (चिमनी) –
a vertical channel or pipe that conducts smoke
and combustion gases up from a fire or furnace and typically through the roof
of a building.

the part of a roof that meets or overhangs the walls of a
building.
11. Windowsill (खिड़की

a shelf formed by the
button part of the frame of a window.
12. Skylight (रोशन
दान) –
an opening in a roof or
ceiling fitted with glass, for admitting daylight.
13. Patio (आंगन) –
a paved outdoor area adjoining a house.

an unroofed area
that is completely or partially enclosed by walls or buildings typically one
forming part of a castle or large house.
